GRO-SURE CHALLENGE ONLINE ‘GROW & WIN’ COMPETITION

  1. Entrants must be 18 years or over.
  2. Purchase a packet of Unwins Gro-sure seeds and register your details online.  Name and address details are required along with the 4 digit code on the back of the pack of seeds you are growing.
  3. In order for your entry to be valid, you must upload a photograph of the results you have achieved with Unwins Gro-sure seeds. You can only upload a photograph once you have registered your details.  The photograph can show seedlings, plants or crops at any stage of their development.  When uploading images please provide details of the seed variety eg Sweetcorn Lark, to ensure entry into the correct category in the end of season extravaganza.
  4. Monthly competition: A monthly winner will be chosen from photograph entries submitted during each calendar month. Winning images will be shown on the homepage after selection with the title, surname and county of the winners. Monthly prizes will be given from March to August 2011 (inclusive). Each month there will be 3 monthly prizes for the photographic competition, each prize will comprise of a bundle of gardening goodies up to the value of £50.  Winners will be notified by e-mail.
  5. End of season extravaganza competition:
    1. All photographs uploaded from 1st March 2011 to 30th September 2011 will automatically be entered into the end of season extravaganza, into one of six categories: Brassicas, Roots, Cucurbits/Squash, Tomatoes, Leeks and Onions, Other. The category entered will be determined by the name of the variety you are growing, pre-determined by Unwins Gro-sure (Westland Horticulture Ltd).
    2. The closing date for entries is 30th September 2011.
    3. There will be one winner for each of the six categories who will each receive £300 of National Garden Centre Vouchers.  The winners will be notified by e-mail within one month of the closing date.
  6. Entrants will be judged on the quality of the results achieved, as judged by staff of Westland Horticulture Limited.  This judgement is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. By entering, you grant Westland Horticulture Ltd a perpetual, irrevocable and royalty-free licence to display your photograph on their websites and use on any other publicity materials.
  8. The winner consents to the use of their entry, name and county in any publicity carried out by Westland Horticulture Ltd without compensation.
  9. All photographs will be available to view in the ‘gallery’ section of the website, displayed with the title, surname and county of the entrant (unless Westland Horticulture choose not to display).  Winners’ details will also be available via Westland Horticulture Limited, Marketing, Alconbury Hill, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 4HY.
  10. Maximum of 6 competition entries per person.
  11. No cash alternative to any prize.
  12. Please allow 28 days for delivery of your prize.
  13. Westland Horticulture reserves the right to withdraw an entry if it is deemed not to be a Gro-sure variety or if the image has been tampered with.
  14. Westland Horticulture reserves the right to amend or withdraw this competition at any time.
  15. Offer open to residents of the UK and Republic of Ireland excluding employees and their immediate families of the promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the campaign.

GRO-SURE CHALLENGE SHARING YOUR TIPS ONLINE

  1. Entrants must be 18 years or over.
  2. Purchase a packet of Unwins Gro-sure seeds and register your details online.  Name and address details are required along with the 4 digit code on the back of the pack of seeds you are growing.
  3. Upload your gardening tips for great results.
  4. Each month, one tip will be chosen as our ‘tip of the month’ and shown on the homepage. Entrants will be judged on the quality of the tip, as judged by staff of Westland Horticulture Limited.  This judgement is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. The winning tip will receive an ‘Unwins Grow Your Own Vegetables’ book.
  6. Tips will be available to view on the Gro-sure website, displayed with the title, surname and county of the entrant (unless Westland Horticulture choose not to display).  Winners’ details will also be available via Westland Horticulture Limited.
  7. By entering, you grant Westland Horticulture Ltd a perpetual, irrevocable and royalty-free licence to display your tip on their websites and use on any other publicity materials.
  8. The winner consents to the use of their entry, name and county in any publicity carried out by Westland Horticulture Ltd without compensation.
