Ledbury School in Herefordshire are uploading projects in line with Key Stage 1 and 2 requirements to help schools grow more effectively.
At Unwins we are passionate about inspiring people of all ages to start growing from seed and showing how easy it is to get great results. This is why we have supported 150 schools across the country by giving them £200 each to spend on gardening products to get them started and develop their school gardens.
As part of the challenge, all children from the schools involved were invited to take part in the Gro-sure Schools Drawing Competition to win £1,000 for their school. The response was fantastic with over 100 drawings and paintings entered by pupils of what they thought their dream Gro-sure garden would look like in the year 2050. Thank you to all teachers who sent in or uploaded their entries – the judging was very tough, and we sought the expertise of Clare Foggett, Editor of the popular gardening magazine Garden News to choose the winning entries and here they are…
